We had a beautiful sunny day for our drive out the Northeast entrance of the park into Montana, through Chief Joseph Pass to Cody, Wyoming and back in through the East entrance. We saw lots of wildlife (bison, bear, fox, antelope, elk, deer and a black wolf), but none was as cool and up close as the following video. They are such massive animals! This little fox walked along the side of the road right next to the window of our truck - no zoom needed. Our drive went over several passes and the views were just incredible!       We have seen SO much beauty and such amazing animals. We have two more days of work and then we will be heading South.  Yellowstone has been a fantastic experience - no regrets! We will miss this view -- we saw it daily on our drive over Fishing ...

 The employee RV park where we live is one mile from our store and we have frequent visitors. Yesterday morning while making breakfast, these 3 young elk came to say hello. I took these looking through my kitchen window.  Fortunately, we haven't seen bear in the campground, but we do have this warning on the laundry room door and we have heard the early morning gun shots nearby (used to scare away bears). And we spotted this little guy on our drive home - about a half mile from our RV park. We spent our last two days off exploring the park, doing errands (laundry & cleaning) and relaxing. The weather was lovely - sunny and 60 degrees - and we saw SO much beauty! Here's just a glimpse: Yellowstone River The variety of scenery as you drive North from here is just stunning! First you drive along this raging river, then beautiful green meadows with snow covered peaks in the background, next crazy boiling mud pots and geysers, to lush forests and huge canyons with waterfalls. It feels like the scenery changes around every bend in the road.  While on our drive we saw lots of bison, a few elk, a mountain goat and a number of bears - including a grizzly that ran across the road in front of us.
